Client limit
Changing this has no effect.
Maximum clients
The new maximum is used to restrict the number of concurrent clients connected to the instance.
Any currently connected clients in excess of the new maximum number are allowed to remain until
they are disconnected in the normal course of events.
Online Server limit
Changing this has no effect.
Maximum Online Servers
If this is changed to a value less than that with which Processor Monitor is currently running, and
more Online Servers than the new maximum are currently running (and the Online Servers are up),
the excess ones are stopped.
The new maximum is then used to restrict the number of concurrently running Online Servers.
Minimum Online Servers
If this is changed to a value greater than that with which Processor Monitor is currently running,
and fewer Online Servers than the new minimum are currently running (and the Online Servers are
up), more are started to bring the number up to it.
The new minimum is then used to maintain the number of concurrently running Online Servers.
Default Online Servers
The new default number is used to start the Online Servers whenever Online Servers are brought
up.
Background Server limit
Changing this has no effect.
Maximum Background Servers
If the Background Servers are up when a dynamic reconfiguration is requested, they are always
brought down automatically prior to the reconfiguration being performed. They are then brought up
again (the default ones only), when it has been completed, thereby immediately implementing any
changes to the Background Server configuration, including the maximum number.
If the Background Servers are not up when a dynamic reconfiguration is requested, changing the
maximum number will have no immediate effect, but will take effect when the Background Servers
are next brought up.
Default Background Servers
If the Background Servers are up when a dynamic reconfiguration is requested, they are always
brought down automatically prior to the reconfiguration being performed. They are then brought up
again (the default ones only), when it has been completed, thereby immediately implementing any
